Beaulieu-sur-mer is an incredibly pretty seaside village in the south of France. We visited on a beautiful sunny morning having decided to jump off the train rather than go straight to Menton (where everyone else was going.)
The French definitely have a different relationship with the beach to what I was used to. There’s a lot of looking at the water and not a lot of getting in the water. So, it was strange to feel like such a foreigner while standing on a beach.
